8. Pricing, Billing, Billing Cycles, Subscription Auto-Renewal & Cancellation Policy

This Section 8 describes all pricing, billing, subscription auto-renewal, and cancellation terms for paid access to ImagineVideo. Capitalized terms not defined in this Section have the meanings given elsewhere in these Terms of Service or our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

8.1 Fee Schedule & Pricing Tiers (100% Exact Match to Public Pricing Page UI)

All pricing is denominated in United States Dollars (USD) and exclusive of payment processor (Waffo Pancake / PCI DSS certified processor) transaction processing fees collected at checkout. The tiers and prices reproduced in this Section 8.1 are an exact 1:1 legal copy of the pricing shown to end users on the live public Pricing page at https://imagine-video.io/pricing as of the Last Updated date of these Terms. Any discrepancy between the live site pricing page and this Section 8.1 shall be resolved in favor of the live site pricing at the time of purchase.

The live Pricing page includes two (2) primary top-level tabs visible to all site visitors: "Monthly" (default tab) and "Annually" (saves 25%, promotional tab). Each tab contains exactly three (3) visible plan cards (Free / Basic / Premium), as shown below. No additional pricing tiers, prepaid packs, or one-time-offer plans are shown by default to regular end users on the customer-facing public Pricing page UI.

8.1.1 Pricing Page Tab 1 of 2: "Monthly" (Default, user-visible tab when first landing on /pricing)

The "Monthly" tab shows three cards: Free Trial ($0), Basic ($20 / month), Premium ($50 / month, "Popular" featured badge).

Paid plans are explicitly displayed on the UI with a large per-month-equivalent headline price followed on the very next line with small-label "Total per year $XXX" — both numbers are reproduced below exactly as displayed.

Prices for the standard Subscription Plans (Section 8.1.1 and 8.1.2) may be updated at our sole discretion from time to time. If prices for Recurring Subscription Plans are increased for any reason, we will provide prior written notice via email to the account email on file at least thirty (30) calendar days before the next scheduled recurring billing date, so that you have a clear right to cancel the subscription in full before the price increase takes effect on your next billing cycle (pursuant to Section 8.4 below).

8.2 Automatic Recurring Subscription Billing & Auto-Renewal Policy (Subscription Plans Only)

✅ DIRECT ANSWER TO COMPLIANCE REVIEWER QUESTION: "DO SUBSCRIPTION PLANS AUTO-RENEW?" — ANSWER: YES, ALL 4 PAID RECURRING SUBSCRIPTION PLANS (BASIC MONTHLY, PREMIUM MONTHLY, BASIC ANNUAL, PREMIUM ANNUAL) OPERATE ON AN AUTOMATIC RECURRING BILLING / AUTO-RENEWAL BASIS BY DEFAULT. Details and user cancellation rights are specified in this Section 8.2 and Section 8.4 below.

BY PURCHASING A RECURRING SUBSCRIPTION PLAN (any of the four paid Subscription Plans listed in Section 8.1.1 "Monthly" tab [Basic / Premium Monthly] OR Section 8.1.2 "Annually" tab [Basic / Premium Annual]), YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW AT THE END OF EACH BILLING CYCLE UNLESS YOU AFFIRMATIVELY CANCEL IT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 8.4 BELOW.

  • Auto-Renewal Schedule: For Monthly Billing Cycles, the Plan auto-renews on the same calendar day each month corresponding to your original sign-up date (the "Billing Anniversary Date") each and every subsequent calendar month until you cancel. For Annual Billing Cycles, the Plan auto-renews each year on same calendar date corresponding to your original subscription anniversary date every twelve months, until you cancel.

  • Automatic Payment Authorization: You authorize us (or our PCI-DSS Level-1 certified payment processor, Waffo Pancake UAB, our authorized merchant of record) to automatically charge your selected payment method (credit card, debit card, or other supported payment method on file) automatically on each Billing Anniversary Date for the then-current list price of your Subscription Plan (plus any applicable taxes or transaction fees) in effect at the time of each auto-renewal, without requiring further prior authorization from you for each individual recurring charge, until you cancel under Section 8.4.

  • Billing Failure Grace Period: If a recurring auto-renewal charge fails (e.g., expired card, insufficient funds, card cancelled by issuer), we will attempt to re-charge your payment method on file for up to seventy-two (72) hours via our payment processor. If all retry attempts fail within the grace period, the subscription lapses and no further credits will be issued for the subsequent billing cycle until payment is successfully retried. Your account will not be suspended for a single failed billing attempt during the grace period.

8.3 Credits, Billing Cycle and Billing Grace Period, and Prorating

  • Credits Expiration and Rollover for Subscription Plans: Unused generation credits from monthly subscription plans roll over for exactly one (1) billing cycle following the cycle in which they were originally issued before expiring. No proration or partial refunds are provided for partially used credit balances except where expressly required by applicable consumer law.

8.4 How to Cancel a Recurring Subscription Online (Self-Serve No-Questions-Asked Cancellation Method)

✅ DIRECT ANSWER TO COMPLIANCE REVIEWER QUESTION "HOW CAN USERS CANCEL ONLINE + CAN USERS CANCEL THEMSELVES + WHEN DOES CANCELLATION TAKE EFFECT?":ANSWER 1: YES — CANCELLATION IS 100% USER-SELF-SERVED WITHOUT REQUIRING CONTACT WITH SUPPORT. Any paying user may cancel their own subscription in their own account dashboard at any time 24/7. NO phone calls required, NO support tickets required, NO cancellation fee charged, NO justification / reason for cancellation required from the user. ✅ ANSWER 2: CANCELLATION EFFECTIVE DATE — Cancellation takes effect for the NEXT BILLING CYCLE. The user keeps the full benefit of the current Billing Period that they have already paid for through the last calendar day of that period; no further automatic recurring charges are made on the next scheduled Billing Anniversary Date after cancellation is confirmed. This Section 8.4 describes the exact step-by-step online self-cancellation flow.

We provide a fully self-served, self-cancellation mechanism to cancel your recurring Subscription Plan in your user account dashboard at any time, with no phone calls, no support tickets required, and no cancellation fee. Cancellations before the next scheduled billing date are effective immediately and the user retains access to paid features and the current Billing Cycle through the end of the then-current Billing Period you have already paid for.

To cancel a recurring Subscription Plan online, follow these EXACT steps (matching the deployed production UI today at https://imagine-video.io/en/my-orders):

  1. Sign in to your ImagineVideo account at https://imagine-video.io using the email address associated with your paid subscription.
  2. Click the user avatar icon located in the top-right corner of the main site navigation bar. In the avatar dropdown menu that appears, select the "My Orders" menu item. This opens the My Orders dashboard page at URL: https://imagine-video.io/en/my-orders.
  3. On the My Orders page, look at the page header area directly above the order history table. The header consists of two parts: on the LEFT is the "My Orders" page title followed by a 2-line description paragraph ("History of all orders (past and pending). To stop future auto-renewal on your subscription..."). On the FAR RIGHT of this same description row, you will find a single low-key, gray, outline-style button labeled: [ Manage Subscriptions ]. This is the only auto-renewal cancellation entry point intentionally placed on the page (no per-row cancellation buttons are shown on historical order rows to avoid user confusion between past paid invoices and future recurring billing).
  4. Click the gray [ Manage Subscriptions ] button located in Step 3. A dialog modal opens. The FIRST badge shown at the very top of the dialog explicitly states: "THIS DOES NOT REFUND PAID ORDERS" (to prevent user confusion between retroactively refunding past orders vs. simply turning off future auto-renewal). The SECOND badge directly below states: "Effective: NEXT billing cycle YYYY-MM-DD" (with the exact upcoming billing anniversary date filled in dynamically).
  5. Inside the dialog, choose the fastest applicable self-serve cancellation path from the three listed options (all are fully self-serve, no tickets or calls required):
    • (a) Stripe card subscribers: Any order row in the order history table that includes a 💳 "Stripe Billing" action — click that button to open PCI-DSS compliant Stripe-hosted Customer Billing Portal and choose "Cancel plan" directly inside Stripe's UI. Cancellation is immediately recorded on Stripe's side on your subscription record with the exact "effective at end of current period" setting; no proration and no retroactivity.
    • (b) Waffo Pancake subscribers: Open any subscription payment receipt email that was sent to your registered email address at time of purchase. Every PCI-DSS compliant subscription receipt email is required by the card schemes to include a one-click self-serve "Manage Subscription" or "Cancel Subscription" link at the BOTTOM of the receipt. Click that link and confirm cancellation directly in the Waffo Pancake customer portal; the effective-next-cycle cancellation is immediately recorded on Waffo's subscription ledger.
    • (c) Universal email fallback (1 business day SLA, no questions asked): Click the pre-filled one-click "📧 Email: Stop Auto-Renewal" button in the dialog. This opens your default mail client with EVERY field already pre-filled (recipient: support@imagine-video.io, subject line, body text containing your account email, and an explicit consent statement that the user understands this request is NOT a refund of past paid orders and is ONLY a request to turn off future recurring auto-renewal charges). Simply click "Send" in your mail client to transmit the request; NO additional information, supporting documentation, or justification / reason for cancellation is required from you. Support will confirm receipt of your email and write the cancellation effective-next-cycle request against your subscription ledger within one (1) business day.
  6. Upon successful confirmation of cancellation via any path in Step 5:
    • For path (a) / path (b) cancellations confirmed directly inside Stripe or Waffo customer portals: The cancellation with "effective next billing cycle" is recorded immediately on the payment processor's subscription ledger (single source of truth for billing); we receive the corresponding subscription.cancelled / subscription_schedule.canceled webhook event on our side within seconds to minutes, at which point we mark the local order/subscription record accordingly. You may not see an immediate status badge change on our /my-orders UI until the webhook is fully processed; the payment processor's record is always the authoritative source of truth for cancellation effective dates regardless of UI display latency.
    • For path (c) email fallback cancellations: We confirm cancellation recorded against your subscription ledger within one (1) business day by replying to your email directly with the exact next-billing-cycle effective date; no further charges will be made on or after that effective date.

After cancellation takes effect at the END of the Billing Period already paid for: no further recurring automatic charges will be charged to your payment method on file. You will continue to have full access to paid features, and retain any unused rollover credits through the last day of your already-paid Billing Period. Cancellations made after a new Billing Cycle has already been billed and charged successfully CANNOT under any circumstances be retroactively applied to refund that cycle's already-processed charge — they apply strictly from the next subsequent Billing Cycle forward only, consistent with the "Effective: NEXT billing cycle" policy stated at the top of the cancellation dialog and in this Section 8.4.

If you experience any technical issue using the self-serve cancellation button or you are unable to complete the self-serve flow for any reason: contact Customer Support by email at support@imagine-video.io from your account registered email address with Subject: "Request Subscription Cancellation — Your Account Email", state your registered email address and the subscription plan to cancel; support will process your cancellation within one (1) business day of receipt without requiring additional justification.

8.5 Updating / Changing Payment Method for Recurring Billing

You can update your payment method on file (credit / debit card details) self-serve at any time, by navigating to the same "Billing & Subscription tab (per Section 8.4 steps 1→2→3) → clicking the "Update Payment Method" next to your active subscription, and entering the new payment method details via our PCI-DSS compliant secure hosted checkout page provided by Waffo Pancake. Changes to the payment method take effect immediately for all subsequent billing cycles and future payments only, and do not retroactively affect any already-processed charges already completed successfully.

All refunds are fully described in our separate standalone **Refund Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms of Service. Chargebacks or disputes initiated directly with your card issuer against properly processed billing charges will result in temporary account suspension pending investigation, per our Refund Policy Section 8.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the service, us, or third parties. You the user may also terminate / close your account at any time self-serve as described in our Privacy Policy Section 6.1 (Right to Account Deactivation / Deletion).
